Please note, more options are available as Santa Teresa is always growing.
Also depending on the season, some restaurants might be closed.
Finally, although walk-ins are accepted, it is encouraged to book a table in the evening in most establishment.

Las Piedras - the best Argentinian meat restaurant in Santa Teresa, also offers fish and vegetarian options.

Bajo El Arbol - charming restaurant owned by a Spanish couple, great sea food, tapas style, best to share.

El Corazon - amazing vegetarian and vegan menu, great cocktail selection, best to share.

Satori - Japanese restaurant, great quality.

Kooks - Costa Rican sports bar, great burger, very good atmosphere, live music.

Amici - Italian restaurant, best pizzas in town, fresh pastas, good service.

Nami - Asian restaurant near Akwa Resorts, fresh sushi and other sea food, vegetarian and vegan options.

La Cevicheria - best ceviches in town, typical atmosphere, vegeterian and vegan optioins.

Pronto - Italian restaurant, beautiful location, large selection for all tastes.

Eat Street - food market style, different options from Tex-Mex to poke bowls, great atmosphere, very trendy.

Kaukau - beautiful café, tasty menu, good service, good location.

Somos Café - very trendy café, good atmosphere, good service.

Mafras - bakery.

Vermu - burgers, salads and bowls, good service, small location.

Food Delivery

If you do not feel like going out and would like to order some food, it is very easy.

First, you need to contact the restaurant and place your order.
This can be done through WhatsApp (you will find the number on Google or Instagram).
Some restaurant have their own delivery service. You need to let them know:

Your name (or lead guest’s)
Your accommodation name
The location which is AKWA Santa Teresa, Condominium TIERRA MYSTICA, 30m before Rocamar and Café Social, on the right hand.

You need to let the reception know so that they can share the information with the guard.

If the restaurant doesn’t have its own delivery service, you can WhatsApp Cholo. He is an independant delivery man. You just need to tell the restaurant it will be a pick up. Cholo will go, pay and pick up your order.

Please be careful, he only works with cash. Most businesses in town are careful when accepting dollars as the bank charges them a fee if the dollar is damaged, ripped or has anything written on it. Cholo might not accept them.
